Hey Reader,
Do you use AI on a weekly basis?
It feels like increasingly the opinions around AI are getting louder while usage of tools is also going up. So I'm genuinely curious as a creative entrepreneur what are you actually using (and how) that's making you better at your job?
This could look like gen fill in photoshop, noise removal in a podcast/video editor, meeting summaries & todo lists, chat as a thinking partner, content repurposing tool, or something totally different.
Hit reply, I'd love to know!

This Week's Needle Mover
๐ New section unlocked ๐
We just launched a new lead magnet: 80 Ways to be more profitable in your business. It's an email sequence with 20 ideas per day around
- Lead Gen
- Converting those leads
- Customer Experience
- Preventing Burnout
Starting next week we'll be breaking down one of the ideas each week into action steps you can take in this section. If you want to get all 80 ideas, opt in here ๐
The Messy Middle
Not taking action can make you feel terrible. If you're in a sales slump, you can't wake up thinking, "Oh, I can feel it. Today's the day eveything will turn around." That is very wishful thinking - the only thing that can change your situation is you.
- Sell It Like Serhant by Ryan Serhant
Something that's been coming up in conversations recently is the idea that we want to have clarity so that we can take decisive action, when in reality many times clarity only comes after you take action.
A lot of our clients have big dreams, but often times they get hung up on wanting to know the full plan before getting started. This could look like:
- Sitting on dreams for years because the current business is good enough and you don't want to rock the boat
- Doing the "right" thing, because it's what everyone else is doing even though you know it'll burn you out within a year
- Re-signing a bad client because it's "safe" money, but it drains all energy to make progress on what you actually want to be doing
Think of doing something new like turning on a light switch in the dark when you're in a new place.
- Sitting in bed hoping/willing the light will turn on will leave you in the dark
- Jumping up and running to turn on the light will give you a stubbed toe or a faceplant in a wall you didn't know about
- You have to take one slow step at a time towards where you think the light switch is, and adjust based on feedback (touching things) until you get it right.
What's one small step you can take towards a dream you've been waiting for clarity on, so you can start getting feedback and making progress?
This Week on the Podcast
It can be difficult to know where to start when trying to make connections with other business owners locally. So this week on the pod, we interviewed Kelci Borges, who runs The Bosie Breakfast Club, which is now up to over 700 members locally, about how to get started with finding a local community.. ๐

Being a creative solopreneur, is an absolute dream. You get to set your own hours, choose your clients, and do work you actually love. But building a business from behind a screen all day?
It can get incredibly lonely.
You transitioned from a bustling corporate office (or college dorm room) to your kitchen table, and suddenly, your only coworker is your dog. You realize that while you love your work, your friends and family might not fully get the entrepreneurial rollercoaster you're on. You crave connection, but the thought of walking into a sterile networking event and handing out business cards makes you want to hide under the covers.
If you're ready to make local business friends but have no idea where to start (or the idea simply terrifies you), this post is for you. We are breaking down Kelciโs exact framework into an actionable, introvert-friendly plan.
Overheard in The Breakroom
This week we had PitchFest in The Breakroom, a time for people to pitch an offer (think sharktank) and then get feedback on what was good and how they can improve! It's cool seeing people applying the feedback almost immediately and already using it in their marketing ๐๏ธ๐
Resource of the Week
This week on @thebreakroomcommunity IG account we kicked off member takeovers on stories. Yesterday Claire @boomingdesign.co did a day in the life of a designer take over (if they've timed out by the time you're reading this, they'll be in a highlight).
Anyways - the resource - one of the most impressive YouTube videos I've seen this year is MQBHD's (tech YouTuber) team did a year in the life full documentary for 2025.
A couple weeks ago they did a podcast breakdown of what it took to put it all together. If you enjoy "how it's made" type content, this is about as good as it gets, because it's "how it was made" of a "how it's made" second channel video.
Cheering you on always,
Lyndon
